About

Kwara State is in the North-Central geopolitical zone of Nigeria, bordered by Kogi State to the east, Niger State to the north, and Ekiti, Osun and Oyo States to the south, with its western boundary forming part of the international border with the Benin Republic. Created in 1967, it has Ilorin as its capital and comprises 16 local government areas. Kwara's economy blends agriculture, commerce and services, with growing investment in large-scale and commercial farming.
